Dress Code The Dance Workshop

The proper attire for dance classes allows for the teachers to see the body more clearly and puts students in the right mind for dance class.

All students must have hair pulled back neatly and pinned away from the face.

Attire: Pink leotard (no skirt attached or separate skirt allowed), pink tights

Shoes: Pink leather ballet slippers (no elastic ties)

Attire: Black (no skirt attached or separate skirt allowed), pink tights

Shoes:

Ballet – pink leather ballet slippers

Tap (ages 4-8) – Black patent leather tap shoes

Tap (ages 9 & up) – Black leather buckle (Mary Jane style) or Black leather lace up shoes

Jazz – Black slip on jazz shoes

Attire: Black leotard, black fitted dance shorts (optional), pink or tan tights or black fitted dance wear

Shoes:

Ballet – pink leather or canvas ballet slippers

Tap – Black leather lace up shoes

Jazz/Musical Theater – Black or Tan slip on jazz shoes

Hip Hop/Street Foundations – Black hip hop sneakers

Lyrical – Tan foot undies

Turn & Kick – Tan turners
